Top 5 Dining and Restaurants Android Apps in Africa for Q1 2023

The first quarter of 2023 has shown interesting trends for the top Dining and Restaurants Android apps in Africa. Here’s a look at the performance of McDonald's, KFC Egypt - Order Food Online, KFC South Africa, Debonairs Pizza, and Spur Family Club.

McDonald's experienced fluctuating download numbers in Q1 2023. The app saw a peak of approximately 97K downloads in the week of March 13, while the lowest was around 28K by the end of March. Weekly active users also showed a downward trend, starting at 555K in late December and dropping to about 303K by the end of the quarter.

KFC Egypt - Order Food Online had a notable peak in downloads of about 92K in late December, which gradually decreased to around 10K by the end of March. Active users followed a similar trend, starting at 480K and decreasing to approximately 231K at the end of Q1.

KFC South Africa showed a steady increase in downloads, peaking at around 29K in the week of March 20. Active users also demonstrated a positive trend, starting at 153K in late December and reaching 196K by the end of March.

Debonairs Pizza maintained a consistent download rate throughout the quarter, with minor fluctuations. The highest number of downloads was about 19K in late January, while the lowest was around 12K in mid-March. Active users started at 56K and fluctuated slightly, ending at approximately 54K by the end of March.

Spur Family Club saw a peak in downloads at around 17K in early January, with a general decline to about 12K by the end of March. Active users showed a steady increase, starting at 53K in late December and reaching around 64K by the end of the quarter.
